Health and safety are top priorities for Trilogy Freight, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that all employees are adequately trained to maintain a safe working environment. We recently supported Cenek, Trilogy's site compliance manager in implementing our Nvolve Learning Management System (LMS) at Trilogy Freight, assisting them in transitioning to a paperless system for managing training, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and signatures. This digital transformation is radically streamlining their processes and enhancing their compliance tracking.
During a recent review, Cenek highlighted that they were specifically asked by their insurance to provide evidence of employee training and compliance, which was easily done through the Nvolve system.
Cenek explained ,
it was a somewhat unexpected ask as these types of requests tend to be reserved more for customer and regulatory audits, however since implementing Nvolve, it was now one we were well prepared to meet and deliver. When asked about the measures we take to demonstrate digital compliance, with particular reference to employee liability and public liability our insurer was significantly impressed and more than satisfied with the evidence we provided.
As a result of this review and the move to digital procedures, Trilogy Freight saw a significant reduction in their annual insurance premium—realising savings between 24-25%, equivalent to £17,000.
While several factors contributed, the Nvolve platform and the ability to prove compliance with a click of a button were critical factors to securing the reduced premium.
