The Challenge

Food companies are under extreme pressure to meet ever-changing regulatory and customer requirements when it comes to ensuring quality, compliance and training requirements are met. In the UK also the food manufacturing industry relies on a large number of migrant workers and it is estimated that one in five workers originates from overseas e.g. Russia, Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania etc.

This obviously causes problems from a productivity, food safety, health and safety and employee development point of view for many businesses.
Millers of Speyside, based in Grantown on Spey in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, supply quality assured meats into many different businesses as well as direct to consumers.

The Solution

Speaking with Tracy Sinclair, Quality Assurance Manager, at Millers of Speyside she states
